The announcement noted that, to date, the Cybin research and development team has evaluated more than 50 novel compounds for pharmacokinetic properties, metabolic stability, receptor binding and safety in order to identify preferred candidates for further development. Thus far, the company has identified four compounds to advance toward clinical evaluations in the treatment of major depressive disorder, alcohol use disorder and anxiety.
