New Hawaii Senate Bill May See Psilocybin Mushroom Therapy Legalized
Hawaii may soon be the next state to legalize the use of psilocybin mushrooms if a bill, known as SB 738, that was recently filed in the state legislature is approved. According to SB 738, the state’s Department of Health would be directed to set up designated centers of treatment, where psilocin and psilocybin will be administered therapeutically. The two psychoactive compounds are produced by fungi from the genus Psilocybe.
